Administrative Executive, TVCG CARES – Center for Anomalies and Rare Entities
Steven Lopez is a healthcare executive with over a decade of experience in clinical operations, healthcare leadership, and patient-centered program development. As Clinical Practice Administrator for The Vascular Care Group’s Connecticut region, he oversees the day-to-day strategy, clinical coordination / operations, and administrative execution across the area. He also works in close collaboration with local hospitals to ensure continuity of care between outpatient and hospital-based services.
Steven also serves as the Administrative Executive for TVCG CARES – Center for Anomalies and Rare Entities, a global referral center for patients living with complex vascular anomalies. Under the direction of Dr. Naiem Nassiri, Steven not only spearheaded the development of the program’s infrastructure—he continues to actively manage all aspects of its operations, including international case coordination, streamlined clinical intake, and the implementation of long term multidisciplinary care strategies.
A core focus of Steven’s leadership is expanding access to cutting-edge vascular care, particularly for underserved and historically overlooked communities. Through proactive outreach, operational innovation, and an unwavering focus on equity, Steven helps ensure that every patient—regardless of location or circumstance—has access to advanced, compassionate care.
Beyond his work in healthcare, Steven is also a professional Latin dancer and founder of Latin Elements Dance Company, where he mentors and inspires youth through the art of movement. His passion for creative expression and community engagement reflects a personal commitment to uplifting others. His vision for TVCG CARES is to empower every child, regardless of diagnosis, to continue pursuing the hobbies and activities they love—whether that’s dance, art, athletics, or any other form of self-expression.
Steven also serves on the Advisory Board for CT State Community College for Nursing and Allied Health and is an active member of the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives (NALHE), where he supports the development of future healthcare leaders and advocates for inclusive, innovation-driven care systems.
